Oreo Mars Rocky Road

This is the easiest recipe in the world. I dont even want to call it a recipe, how about i just call it 4 ingredients that you heat and mush together? That might get across just how simple this is.

Please dont let that fool you though because this recipe is very much like David Beckham, its timeless, beautiful and painfully simple… although its only around €10 to makes so unlike anything with the Beckham name on it, its cheap too!

  • 500g Plain or Milk Choclate
  • 3 Mars Bars (Chopped into small pieces)
  • 308g Oreo Cookies (Crushed)
  • 170g Mini Marshmallows

Step 1. In a bowl over a pan of lightly boiling water break the chocolate and stir until totally melted. Once the chocolate is smooth take the bowl off the pan and place it to cool.
Step 2. While the chocolate cools, take the Oreos out and crush them into the bowl of now melted bliss. Make sure you crush them into at least quarters.
Step 3. Take the chopped Mars pieces and put them in next
Step 4. When the chocolate is cooled just enough so that you can still stir and coat the ingredients, add the marshmallows. If you add them too quickly the chocolate will melt them. Now stir so everything is coated in the melted chocolate.
Step 5. Line a 20-22cm baking tin with cling film or baking paper and put the mix in and flatten to the edges as much as possible. No air bubbles should be in the mix at all. Now just pop in the fridge for at least 2 hours!
Step 6. To serve: Take out of the fridge an hour before you want to eat it to let it soften a little. Cut into squares and serve.
